Last nights game against the Orioles was a gem! Welcome to Boston Senor Matt Clement! I mean, this guy was amazing. 8 hits, 1 walk, 7 Ks and 0 runs in 8 innings. People didn't think this guy could handle the pressure in Boston, but so far Mr. Clement has been pretty decent. Remember, this is the same Orioles lineup that ran thru the Yankees poor pitching not too long ago.
Also, does anoyone else feel really happy for Pedro? This guy is thriving in New York. And aren't we happy that he isn't doing this for the Yankees, but for those once hapless Mets? Congrats to Pedey and Clement on two stellar preformances last night.

By the way, the Yankees barely escaped last night with 2 outs and runners on the corners. If it wasn't for that great defensive play by Tino Martinez, they woulda been sunk. Is something wrong with Mo?

Also, and I know its early, how good is it to look down at the Yankees in the standings? Sitting on top feels better than looking up and wondering if we can overcome a 12 game deficent.
